Our client owns a large coffee shop in the Tees Valley. They had always managed their own energy procurement until they had an issue with the energy provider who had invoiced them incorrectly and were trying to push the client to pay it.
We got involved and settled the issue with the incorrect billing, we then served notice with that energy provider as they were approaching the renewal stage of their contract.
After searching the market on our client’s behalf we were able to present back to the client a proposal that saved them 24% on their electricity costs which the cash equivalent was £1800 saving per year.
We now handle all of the renewals for this client who has now opened a second coffee shop.
